Dr. Keleigh Blount (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina and holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselor Education and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in Greensboro, North Carolina. Prior to earning her licensure, she also served proudly in the United States Air Force.
Dr. Blount utilizes a Person-Centered and Relational-Cultural Theory approach to counseling through a social justice lens; believing the client and counselor relationship is non-hierarchical and the client is the expert in their own life, while also centering that we are built for connection and relationship and this impacts the systems in which we live. She also uses expressive arts and group therapy to assist clients in achieving their goals.
