Dr. Kelly King is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor whose primary focus is working with clients in recovery from addiction. In addition to providing counseling services, she is currently a professor in the Counselor Education Program at North Carolina Central University. Dr. King holds a doctorate in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Dr. King views counseling as a dynamic, relational process where she collaborates with you to make meaningful changes. She strives to offer culturally responsive services that will affirm your identity and provide a supportive environment for vulnerable personal exploration. Informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dr. King incorporates action-oriented techniques to support intentional, mindful living. |
