Vanessa Soleil (she/they) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who works with adults (18+) seeking holistic healing and wellness. Vanessa's goal is to provide a warm, culturally-sensitive, and collaborative environment to support clients on their journey of self-discovery, growth, and wholeness.
Vanessa earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina State University and has completed training in life coaching and mind-body movement forms including yoga and NIA. Vanessa brings together trauma-informed skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and body-based meditation practices. Vanessa also works with couples and triads in relationship and is informed by attachment theory and the Gottman Method.
With a social justice lens, Vanessa incorporates an understanding that multiple aspects of our identities, communities, and social environments influence our well-being. Vanessa prioritizes safety and authentic connection and believes that therapy can help clients understand the hidden needs in their symptoms, and connect to their innate wisdom.
